Job Location : Varied facilities for sports league and Princess Anne Atlethic Complex
Schedule : Varied shifts, shift include Weeknights : 5p-11 : 30p and Weekends : 8 Hour shifts 9a-5 : 30p, 12p -9 : 30p
Pay Rate : $17.00 / hourly.
Job Requirements :
There are several positions with this posting which are responsible for various roles to serve as event / facility staff, game day personnel to assist with scoring / timekeeping, and officiating youth flag football games at various facilities. Individuals will enforce the rules and bylaws while creating a positive, fun, enjoyable, and safe atmosphere and encourage good sportsmanship.
Duties
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to remain on your feet and perform any of the critical elements of the position.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, other city employees and the public.
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
- Listen to concerns and assist in problem-solving and correcting inappropriate behavior.
- Ensure guest safety and maintain integrity of the game by following policies and regulations.
- Work, establish and maintain effective relationships with the onsite team to provide legendary customer service for events, as gym supervisors and as officials.
- Moderate physical activity to include facility set-up and breakdown, running / jogging, ability to bend and stoop to perform general housekeeping duties.
