Quality Inspector

Kearny, NJ

Direct Hire Permanent Placement Role

3rd Shift 11pm-730am. Sat- Wed

23-$30 an hour overtime benefits

Job Requirements :

  • Must have experience in a manufacturing QC environment, including electrical and mechanical assembly inspections.
  • Must have knowledge of how to properly use handheld measurement tools to include decimal and fraction readings.
  • Proficiency in viewing and interpreting fabrication drawings.
  • Physical abilities to lift 45 lbs unassisted.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Inspect materials or assembled parts and products for defects and deviations from specifications.
  • Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
  • Capture non-conformance information to notify management on process / product issues.
  • Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality.
  • Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards.
  • Special assignments as necessary.
