Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our valve manufacturing facility in Texas. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components critical to the operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility. This includes ensuring the proper functioning of assembly and testing equipment, paint booths, facility utilities, and other electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and testing equipment, Smart instrument Lab, including hydro testing systems, steam testing systems, and assembly machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other general electrical infrastructure. - Test and calibrate electrical systems to meet safety and operational standards.
Oversee electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in testing and assembly equipment.
Ensure automation systems are running efficiently to support production processes.

Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. - Technical training or associate degree in electrical maintenance or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, and PLCs. - Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment, including testing systems and HVAC systems. - Proficiency with tools and meters for diagnosing electrical issues (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, etc.)
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Experience working with high-voltage equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with the maintenance of industrial testing equipment and automation systems.
Electrical maintenance certification or journeyman electrician license (preferred). - OSHA safety training certification is a plus.
