Job Summary
The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients while building strong relationships with their owners. This role requires a team player who is passionate about delivering the highest standard of medicine and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Determine client needs and develop a rapport with them
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures with minimal patient stress and discomfort
- Communicate physical examination findings and diagnosis to clients, generate and present treatment plans, and educate on preventative health care
- Maintain accurate client/patient medical records and ensure up-to-date logs through established protocols
- Assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of patient care, staying current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state
- Professional comportment and appearance with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly with fellow team members
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
