Receiving/Shipping Manager

Job Summary
The Receiving/Shipping Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient receipt, handling, and shipping of products within our warehouse center. This position is responsible for managing inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining optimal operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in warehouse management, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and enhance accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the receiving area.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate receiving staff to promote a high-performance culture.
• Ensure accurate shipping of all orders to meet in-hands dates

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a distribution center environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management practices, including shipping and receiving operations.
• Familiarity with ShipStation
