What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Driver position at Abatix Corp?
Abatix is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate has experience with forklifts and is comfortable with driving a box truck on occasion.
Monday-Friday day shift.
Pay rate: $21-23 per hour
Job Description
- Receive and pick orders for customers
- Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Count stock items and record data into computer system
- Assist customers with loading merchandise
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist customers with loading merchandise
- Make deliveries in the San Francisco area in a box truck or van
Job Requirements
- A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
- 2 years of warehouse experience in a wireless environment
- Bobtail experience is a plus!
- Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
- A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Willingness to be a team player and take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
- Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
