What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Driver position at Abatix?
Abatix is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate has experience with forklifts and is comfortable with driving a box truck on occasion.
Pay rate : $20 Depending on experience
Job Description
Receive and pick orders for customers
Safely operate a forklift
Count stock items and record data into computer system
Assist customers with loading merchandise
Make deliveries in the Pheonix area in a box truck or van
Job Requirements
A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
2 years of warehouse experience in a wireless environment
High school diploma or GED certificate from a certified institution
Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Willingness to be a team player and take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles (if necessary)
A valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
