What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Driver position at Abatix?
Abatix is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Driver! The ideal candidate has experience with forklifts and is comfortable with driving a box truck. The team member's attitude and professionalism will guarantee a positive customer experience.
Pay range : $20 depending on experience
Job Description
Receive and pick orders for customers
Load and unload vehicle
Verify the contents of orders against shipping papers
Safely operate a forklift
Count stock items and record data into computer system
Assist customers with loading merchandise
Make deliveries in the DFW area in a box truck or van
Job Requirements
A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
2 years of warehouse experience in a wireless environment
CDL Class B or higher preferred, not required
Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles
A valid driver's license
Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
