Assembly Technician 2nd Shift Job Description
This position involves working on a variety of projects, including assembling machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of tools - tape measure, screwdriver, battery operated tools, etc. and be able to read and interpret engineering job spec sheet, connection diagrams, bill of materials, and standard assembly drawings.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Reading blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then building to those specifications.
- Maintaining logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Inventorizing tools, parts, and supplies; contacting materials handler if supplies are needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge and use of necessary PPE.
- Ability to perform other related duties as assigned.
