Your role and responsibilities
In this role, be the technical lead and / or design authority for Process Automation engineering projects in Renewable, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Generation, Water treatment industries both in US and global projects, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. You will be responsible to ensure successful Distributed Control System delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines. The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite Reimbursement for relocation is not available. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division in Houston, TX. You will be mainly accountable for :
- Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements for medium to large complex projects
- Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in US and abroad
- Assisting Project Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals
- Cost-effectively executing Distributed Control System project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements
- Design, Test and Commission Automation Enclosures, Control Logic and Human Machine Interfaces with ABB or 3rd party Control System
- Creating and delivering work plans, budgets, and risk assessments
- Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees
- Developing, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities
