Your role and responsibilitiesThe Area Sales Manager will lead a team of commercial and industrial construction focused sales people which meets its volume growth through balanced selling (price / quality / margin), cost and customer satisfaction objectives, through excellent external and internal customer relations and an increasing market share in the Atlanta, GA metro area. This is a hybrid position, with successful candidates located in the Atlanta metro area. Relocation assistance will be provided. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: *Coach sales resources to make winning decisions, plan better, and effectively allocate resources based on customer needs and potential for growth. *Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources. This includes working in tandem with channel organization. *Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. *Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
Qualifications for the role- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration (or related) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience growing sales in the electrical industry.
- Experience successfully leading a team of salespeople.
- Understanding and experience with full portfolio of products and services (including power distribution one-line and installation products)
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
