What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at ABB Inc.?
This position reports to
Integrated Product Unit Leader
Your role and responsibilitiesConducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines. Work is typically done manually or by using light hand tools. Quality: The job may include regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. Skill set required depends on type of products and level of complexity. Health & safety: Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. Organization: Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
Qualifications for the role- High school diploma, Electrical apprentice
- Availability to work in any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- Control wire knowledge nice to have
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
