Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide business and functional analysis services to our internal customers in the area of PDC, a SharePoint-based Document Management System. You will support them in analyzing requirements, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions to facilitate decisions regarding new or modified features. You will collaborate with the Service Owner, Application Manager, and other PDC teams (Development, Operations, QA) to ensure the quality and stability of the PDC service. You will also be responsible for analyzing requirements and implementing PDC for new ABB customers. As part of the PDC Functional Analysis Team, you will work closely with other team members on a daily basis to ensure that functional and business analysis outcomes are well understood by the entire team and align with the best practices established by the PDC Team. This position reports to the IS Service Owner - Document Management Systems.
Qualifications for the role- Qualifications for the role:
- To be successful in this role, you bring at least 5 years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst. A background in IT - particularly with SharePoint or other Document Management System solutions - will be a strong advantage.
- You have a proven track record of documenting functional and business requirements clearly and efficiently. You're not afraid to challenge or simplify complex requirements, often bringing your own ideas to the table.
- You're confident in validating and testing delivered solutions, and you can effectively conduct acceptance testing with stakeholders and vendors.
- Your knowledge of Business Analysis principles and best practices enables you to deliver high-quality outcomes. You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable leading system implementations for customers.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset is key in this role. You thrive in cross-functional teams, working smoothly with colleagues across departments and geographies. You bring a global mindset and value intercultural sensitivity.
- You're also ready to travel abroad a few times a year to support PDC implementations at ABB customer sites.
- Finally, your experience working closely with customers, developers, testers, and operations teams, along with your understanding of ITIL practices, SDLC, and relevant tools, makes you well-prepared to contribute from day one.
