What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at ABB Inc.?
This position reports to
Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilitiesExecutes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions. Performs routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts. Ensures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any. Ensures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow. Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities. Maintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities. Keeps track of approved, defective units, and final products.
