This position reports to
Quality Control Specialist
Your role and responsibilitiesInspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity Assist other QC Technicians, Operators, Wirers and Assemblers when quality questions arise Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.) Train other employees Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for the role- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications.
- Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
- Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun
- Desired experience in SAP, supplier net, salesforce, windchill, fletch (waiver/ncm workflows/Quality Notifications), BOX and SharePoint
- Ability to work with teams and coordinate activities like rework, collaborate with suppliers and facilitate return of materials (RMA's)
- 1 year experience in quality preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
