Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. Each day, you will develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Richmond VA. You will be mainly accountable for: *Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork. *Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. *Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations. *Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting. • Associates degree required.
• 5 years management experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment required.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
