Job Summary
The Lab Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lab and ensuring that all products are processed efficiently and accurately.
Essential Functions
- Utilize a tracing machine to measure frame dimensions; Print and match paperwork to corresponding trays; Read job ticket to determine the location of lens needed and pull from bin placing correctly in tray; Deliver tray to appropriate location to be scanned, verified and de-boxed
- Invoice and package finished jobs; scan and bin jobs into proper customer box to be shipped
- Sort and receive frames into system placing frames in appropriate colored trays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience is required for full-time employment.
- Entry-level: No specific prior work experience required; training provided to enable employees to perform the minimum essential functions identified by their respective lab/department
- Proficient: Minimum six (6) months of optical manufacturing experience in same or similar position prior to skills assessment to determine ability to perform all applicable essential functions identified by their respective lab/department
