This position reports to
Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Daily chemical analysis and adjustment to ensure the integrity of the plating and galvanizing process and the production of quality parts.
Inventory control; storage and ordering required chemicals.
Monitor and control the transfer of chemicals through the process and into the waste water area.
Conduct preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals on equipment in the plating, galvanizing, and waste water area.
Provide assistance and support to the waste water area when needed.

This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of related experience / training or combination.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to write correspondence, including maintaining logs and document work performed.
- Ability to present information to individuals, groups or other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
- Ability to use PC for tasks such as preparing job instructions and standard operating procedures, entering spreadsheet data and for email communications.
- Ability to use scientific methods.
- Ability to understand and utilize basic algebraic formulas.
- Must be able to perform normal job duties that require an individual to stoop, bend, and lift in excess of 50 pounds.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
