About ABB Distribution Solutions Division
We facilitate the efficient and reliable distribution, protection, and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will capture ideas and define new product technical requirements for product development by understanding customer needs and values, providing specific expertise, and knowledge of the existing portfolio.
- You will provide comprehensive understanding of portfolio and application as the go-to technical support for sales and marketing teams, as well as customers.
- You will support the entire product development process from requirement specification and ROI evaluation, to product launch. Create launch documents, train, and assist sales and marketing teams in the launch and selling of new products.
- You will analyze and prepare documentation on market, product, and competitors to support sales, marketing, and customer development.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, engineering, or business experience, working as a product specialist, product manager, application engineer, business development specialist, or similar, with electrification products.
- Solid understanding of electrical power systems, and related applications and terminology with focus in utility and OEM markets.
- Demonstrated experience of marketing and sales strategy.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
