This position reports to
Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Shift : Sunday - Thursday (11 : 15pm - 7 : 45am) Repairing molds and tooling while keeping tight tolerances / -.001" Read and understand engineering drawings Fabricate tooling from engineering drawings Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances, using measuring instruments such as : dial indicators, gauge blocks, thickness gauges, and micrometers Perform quality checks, interpret, and react to projects in a timely manner Take proactive ownership and responsibility for product quality after fabrication
Qualifications for the role
- High School diploma / GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 - 10 years' experience or similar environment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge and understanding of the various types of production equipment
