This position reports to
Continuous Improvement Manager
Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education / employment opportunities. The work model for the role is : onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for :
- Conduct engineering time studies in manufacturing operations, collaborating with machine operators and operation leaders to establish and maintain operation standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across all facility functions, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), Quality, and Lean manufacturing practices.
- Engage with the corporate engineering team in Memphis, TN, contributing to Research & Development (R&D) activities and supporting innovation efforts.
- Support of all personal and professional development activities.
