Your role and responsibilities

Under the direction of the Product Engineering and Reliability Manager, the Product Engineering Mechanical Engineer performs a variety of engineering assignments and projects in support of Technical Product Owners through product lifecycle. Performs mechanical engineering tasks to develop, maintain or improve products belonging to the local USABB Product Engineering Team. Proactively seeks and implements initiatives to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is : Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for :

• Responsible for mechanical designs, including sheet metal, plastics, thermal and environmental management, and agency compliance; Create and maintain mechanical models and CAD drawings to support PE functions.
• Monitor designs for product improvements, analyze and perform corrective actions for field quality issues. Write and implement ECNs related to these issues.
• Perform testing to validate designs, qualify critical components and verify agency compliance; Support design changes at the product platform level with the Global Product Engineering Team.
• Participate in quality problem solving activities to resolve customer and Production issues. Assist implementation of quality improvement and cost reduction activities. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
