Your role and responsibilities
A Project Quality Engineer ensures that all aspects of a project meet the required quality standards. They play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of the project's deliverables, working closely with various teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This position involves collaborating with suppliers, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in project phase. The Project Quality Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust quality management processes during project phase till handover to production. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Senatobia, MS (#Li-Onsite) You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborate with project teams: Maintain project quality documentation, including quality control plans, inspection checklists, and test procedures and identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. • Documentation and traceability: Maintain quality records, including non-conformance reports, inspection reports, and corrective action reports. • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors: Ensure compliance with quality requirements and resolve quality-related issues. • Develop and implement FAT procedures: Create detailed test plans and protocols to ensure comprehensive testing.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree within a Project, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field required and 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with PPAP required and project management, Factory Acceptance Test and PFMEA, Control Plan experience preferred
- Ability to travel – 25%
