This position reports to
Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Responsible for ongoing analysis and follow up of rejected components, including recommendations for corrective action. Assist in corrective action resolution Perform inspections in the Molding area and communicate nonconformance details via email, written reports, etc. Use precision tools and perform dimensional inspections using instrumentation, as required Formulate relevant reports of the inspections for Supplier Quality Performance Determine salvageability of defective items, as assigned Must understand and perform all job requirements in compliance with ISO 9001
Qualifications for the role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills for communication with production, supervisors, and co-workers
- Strong computer and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull / push functions
- Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
- Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
- Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
