ABB is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to support Process Industries customers in the Springfield, OR region. This role involves installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective service for laboratory and production process testing instruments, ensuring optimal system performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and remote support for industrial testing instruments
- Ensure all service activities meet ISO-certified policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, software configuration, and electronic systems
- Utilize calibration and test equipment to ensure system accuracy
- Document service activities and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 8 years of related work or military experience with an associate’s degree (or 10 years with a HS diploma/GED)
- Strong understanding of network support, computer repair, and OS restoration
- Previous experience in HVAC systems, industrial automation, or process control systems
- Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and general software applications
- Willingness to travel 65% domestically and internationally
- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands
