Job Description:
- Drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within designated areas.
- Promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
- Understand channel strategy and establish related prices, prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans when needed.
- Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and identifying potential new service portfolios.
- Act as marketer/salesperson for ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
Responsibilities:
- Penetrate into Installed Base (IB), promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to the benefit of customers and ABB.
- Build long-term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering preferred or relevant 10-year work experience from the field and selling electrical products.
- Overall, 5 years of technical, application, and marketing experience.
- Strong commercial background with technical experience.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and training presentations about product portfolio to Utilities, Distributors, Independent Service Providers (ISP), OEMs, end-users, and sales teams as required.
- Preferred – experience/leadership in technical sales and/or product marketing or product management.
Salary:
$111,300 - $206,700 annually, plus short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
