Job Summary
-
Provides respiratory care designed to stabilize, prevent, evaluate or remedy patient respiratory problems. In doing so, you are required to arrange and operate a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosol inhalation equipment in order to administer prescribed doses of medical gases and aerosolized medications to patients. The age range for the patients treated will range from newborn to geriatric adults.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement

Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care.

Minimum Experience Requirement
-
Prior experience preferred, but not required.

Minimum License Requirement
-
South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. CRT: Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care. RRT: Registered by National Board for Respiratory Care.
