Abbey Residential Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Manager
Duties Include:
- Leads rent collection efforts. Issues appropriate notices when necessary, specifically with delinquent residents.
- Set up payment plans where possible on bad debt accounts.
- Actively pursue recovery of delinquent monies including lease termination and legal action.
- Ensure proper handling of evictions and skipped units.
- Assist in maintaining accurate resident ledgers and files
Business Manager also serves as acting Assistant Manager and / or Property Manager in their absence.
First weekend of the month work schedule is required.
Skills and Experience:
1 to 2 years of previous experience in bookkeeping / accounting role in a multifamily environment preferably on a large property. Previous experience as an assistant manager desired but not required.
Professional and effective communication and custom service skills required along with general office, bookkeeping / sales experience.
