Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Dishwasher. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Understand the importance of customer service and be willing to learn resident/relative satisfaction techniques.
- Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean dishes, utensils, and pots and pans.
- Scrape soiled dishes, utensils, and pots and pans.
- Place dishes, utensils, pots and pans into dish machine, operate the machine, and observe the travel of dishes through the machine.
- Sort clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and transfer them to appropriate storage containers.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assess and report problems and breakdowns in dishwashing machinery.
- Observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary Department.
- Observe facility safety policies and procedures.
- Observe facility disaster preparedness procedures.
- Observe Resident’s Rights policies and maintain resident confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Food Service Director.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
