Job Description
The full-time Staff Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the translation of the nursing philosophy into practice by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system.
Responsibilities
- Assess the educational needs of the staff and plans, develops, and implements training programs to meet those needs
- Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system
- Must have a minimum of three years clinical experience, a minimum of two years experience in long-term care and one year in a management capacity
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
