Abbie School is a school that specializes in serving children with autism and other related disabilities. Our students include a variety of diverse individuals with the potential for development through verbal and visual communication. As Program Director you would be responsible for the management of our high school program, which consists of 35 students, 5 teachers, and 2 aides.
Our Program Director embodies the mission of the school and articulates that mission for all aspects of the program. In keeping with the school’s mission, our Program Director fosters the traditions, relationships, and practices that determine the school’s climate and culture and is responsible for the overall management of the school. You will work hand in hand with our behavior technician to ensure that we continue to meet student and faculty standards of excellence through compassion, empathy, structure and support.

Work Hours- Monday - Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm
School Hours: 9am-3pm
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to going above & beyond for staff and students
- Experience with IEP development and writing
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as attention to detail
- Ability to work well with a team
- Experience delivering and receiving feedback
- Strong computer skills and ability to analyze data in various applications including Excel
- Background in Education
Preferred by not required
- Experience working with special needs students
