About the Position
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and documenting the care of residents with impaired abilities to perform daily living activities. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement rehabilitation programs that promote resident independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address residents' specific needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote resident independence and mobility
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- NBCOT certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
