Responsibilities
- Meet with patients and parents for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions
- Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
- Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome
- Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
- Active state license for practicing speech therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong charting and documentation skills
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite and EHR systems
