JOB SUMMARY:
The Family Enrichment Coordinator, under the Administration for Childrens Services (ACS) contract, is responsible for the coordination of the interdisciplinary treatment team supporting the child and family to facilitate the treatment team meeting (TTM) utilizing a family-centered, child-focused, community-based, trauma informed approach to service delivery. The Family Enrichment Coordinator does not have a role in the case to allow for a neutral perspective and observations, can lead discussions, set expectations, keep participants on topic and on-schedule, ask follow-up questions where necessary, complete meeting notes, and establish next steps. Additionally, the Family Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for helping surface any safety issues that may threaten the safety of the child in the foster care setting, in visitation, or at home, as well as the status of behaviors or conditions that present risk of abuse or maltreatment to the child and to help family members create a plan that will address them. The Family Enrichment Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the case planning team and ACS regarding overrides and exploring placement for the child/youth as needed as well as function as a crisis worker to mitigate any crisis that may arise in the office.
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
Track new ACS intakes within the foster care programs
Maintains a consistently urgent focus on safety and report concerns to the interdisciplinary team
Attend regularly scheduled supervision and training
Assist with intervening in crisis within the agency
Knowledge of current issues/trends in the field of social work and foster care.
Plan and coordinate in conjunction with 29i clinic, initial and quarterly treatment team meetings for all children in foster care
Distribute summary of the treatment team meeting quickly to all TTM participants
Ensure timely documentation of the TTM summary in CNNX to be contemporaneous with the time conference held
Collaborate with unit supervisors to schedule and confirm TTMs, and ensure notifications are provided 3 weeks in advance of scheduled conference
Submit weekly calendar to supervisor to reflect all TTMs that will be facilitated
Act as a liaison between the case planning team in submitting ACS override packages while responding to inquiries and documenting responses in CNNX
Submit and track OPA packages to the office of replacement and follow up on the status of the request while documenting OPA responses in CNNX
Conduct trauma-informed assessments and develop a care plan based on outcomes of the assessment
Make recommendations for services/wrap around services based on outcome of trauma-informed assessments
Attend and participate in weekly supervision to report TTMs held, and raise concerns that are pertinent to the follow-up of supervisors and staff in addressing the needs and goals identified in each conference
Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis intervention
Complete other assignments as needed or designated by the supervisor

Computer The Family Enrichment Coordinator must be able to use a computer and able to learn software programs
Office Equipment- The Family Enrichment Coordinator is required to operate a fax, copier, scan, and other office equipment.
Communication - The Family Enrichment Coordinator needs to be able to speak, read and write fluently in the English language
Writing - The Family Enrichment Coordinator must be able to write in the English language using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
Lifting - The Family Enrichment Coordinator may frequently lift 0-25 lbs., occasionally lift 25-50 lbs., and rarely lift over 50 lbs.
Push/Pull - The Family Enrichment Coordinator may frequently push/pull 0-25 lbs. of force, occasionally push/pull 26-45 lbs. force, and rarely push/pull over 45 lbs.
Sitting, Standing and Walking The Family Enrichment Coordinator will be required to sit, stand and walk throughout the work day.
Stooping -The Family Enrichment Coordinator may occasionally stoop. This is defined as bending body downward by bending spine at the waist.
Kneeling -The Family Enrichment Coordinator may occasionally kneel. This is defined as bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee(s).
Crouching - The Family Enrichment Coordinator may occasionally crouch. This is defined as bending body downward and forward by bending spine and legs.
Work environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate due to talk and movement of the program participants and other co- workers. The noise level can increase on occasion due to yelling or screaming by the participants of the programs.
Masters degree in social work or related field
Strong clinical, organizational and administrative skills
Team player with solid planning, organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent engagement and interpersonal/communication skills
Minimum 1 year experience conducting conferences, assessments and developing a care plan based on the validated assessment tool
Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
Knowledge of child welfare/child protective services as well as knowledge of community-based services
