SUMMARY : The Assistant Service Center Manager is responsible for all member service duties, sales and the managing of member relationships while reaching established goals. This individual assists the Senior Service Center Manager in overseeing all service center functions at locations within sponsor sites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Demonstrates enhanced product and sales knowledge of all ALEC products, services, procedures relating to the daily job.
- Consistently provides exceptional member service to every member, internal and external, every time by adhering to the ALEC Service Model and ensuring all employees provide the same.
- Processes a variety of member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and check cashing on credit union data processing system.
- Ensures Service Centers meet quality expectations in the areas of teller transactions, branch audits, member and loan files and other Service Center operations.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assisting with performance coaching and disciplining of employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Assists in interviewing potential candidates for open positions within department.
- Floats between locations as deemed necessary for business coverage on any given day, in any position, for any requested time period, including possible extended periods of time.
- Manages all Service Center activity, including teller errors and sales, vault controls, cash controls, check deposit administration, and security / safety procedures and processes.
- Performs, oversees and maintains vault / cash procedures for Service Center.
- Ensures that security and loss control policies and procedures are followed by Service Center.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS :
Supervisory Responsibilities : Acts as Manager in Service Center as needed.
