This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. Were revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As a Visual Product Designer, you will help shape and refine the aesthetic vision of our products, transforming complex ideas into clean, accessible, and visually compelling experiences. Youll collaborate across teams, turning concepts into detailed, polished interfaces that tell a story through design. If pixel-perfect precision, and elevating brand expression through UI design light you up, wed love to meet you.
Bachelors Degree in Design / Human Factors or related field plus minimum of 6 years related work experience.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates a high level of visual craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to translate business goals and audience needs into impactful visual designs, from concept to final execution.
Strong prototyping and animation skills, at different levels of fidelity
Driven by a passion for making experiences more engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing and defining how it should look and behave like
A deep understanding of design fundamentals and a sophisticated design sensibility, shaped by a deep curiosity for both design and the world around you, and continuously seeking inspiration from diverse sources.
Experience in creating, evolving and maintaining design systems to ensure cohesion across platforms.
Expertise in usability and accessibility, ensuring every design is inclusive and functional for all users.
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively articulating your design rationale to a wide range of stakeholders.
