Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Research Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and resolving outstanding receivables through in-depth investigation and collaboration with various departments. This role involves identifying root causes for open receivables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and accelerating the processing of credit memos to support financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales reports, comparing invoiced prices to contracted terms and ensuring alignment of billed products with contracted products.
• Review accounts for accurate purchase orders (POs) and verify sufficient funds are available for contracted items.
• Investigate and resolve open receivables by working closely with Accounts Receivable, Contracts & Pricing, and Sales teams.
• Address duplicated inquiries and validate requests for credit memos to streamline processing and improve receivables management.
• Propose actionable steps for resolution, contributing to the timely and efficient collection of outstanding accounts.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable analysis, financial analysis, or related areas.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports and contract terms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
