The position of Operations Support Inventory Coordinator is within our Toxicology unit located in Portsmouth, Virginia at Instant Technologies. In this role, you play a key role in the overall responsibility for the inventory movement within the Quarantine warehouse to ensure all products received in, are accounted for and properly placed in the final location. Inventory movement includes quarantined product, verification of short lot material dispositioned as scrap, to include final verification prior to the offsite destruction following approval and scrap disposition.

The position of Operations Support Inventory Coordinator is within our Toxicology unit located in Portsmouth, Virginia at Instant Technologies. In this role, you play a key role in the overall responsibility for the inventory movement within the Quarantine warehouse to ensure all products received in, are accounted for and properly placed in the final location. What You’ll Work On
- Overall responsible for the accountability of material brought into or housed within the Quarantine warehouse including bulk quarantine.
- Responsible for the collection, segregation, status labeling, inspection, and dispositioning of all Courier and RMA returns.
- Responsible for documenting and routing all non-conforming material- including logging, and proper routing of all associated files for documented disposition up through closure.
- Responsible for the overall scrapping process to include the scheduling of pick-ups, staging/ palletizing of materials, documenting the identification, and organizing verification checks.
- Responsible for logging, updating and maintaining accurate scrap, return and Non-Conforming Materials Report logs, as well as the responsibilities defined within each associated written procedure.
- Assisting warehouse operations on an as needed basis, to ensure OTIF is met. (This includes cross training to warehouse task, picking, packing, shipping, scanning, ect.).
- Cycle counts every morning to ensure accurate physical count on hand represents similarity in the SAGE /Microsoft Great Plains ERP systems.
- Conducting variance count checks throughout all warehouses upon request, to include the movement of the Product Research Cage within the specified area.
- Assisting Ops Support Supervisor with safety related checks in house as requested or as needed.
- High school education
- One year of warehousing experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Intermediate Excel Data pivot table skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem analysis and problem solving
- Intermediate to advanced Excel Data Skills
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
