This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Main Purpose of Role

The Project Engineer will manage administratively small to medium scale projects, including, but not limited to:

• Utility / Facility /Infrastructure installations
• Office, lab, and clean room construction
• Manufacturing Facility upgrades
• Warehouse expansions
  
  

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Manage project financials, including maintaining budget and cash flow projections
• Assist in project scope, cost estimate, and RCE development
• Works closely construction teams to manage schedule, resources, scope, and adherence to internal and external standards and specifications
• Provide procurement activities including sourcing/qualifying suppliers & service providers, preparation for competitive bidding, adding new vendors to Abbott’s procurement systems, processing purchase orders and invoices, tracking on-time deliveries, etc.
• Provide coordination with project team and stake holders
• Provide communications of status and upcoming activities to project team, stakeholders, and management
• Complete project close-out activities, including financials, asset management, compiling turn-over documentation and maintenance manuals, etc.
  
  

The base pay for this position is $50,000.00 – $100,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
