As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud, you will work onsite out of our Sylmar, CA or Sunnyvale, CA location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. You will collaborate with other engineers in Architecture, Development, Product, IT, and Systems engineering teams to continue finding new areas that can be improved by bringing a DevOps/SRE mindset to product offerings.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating software deployment, implementing various services involving on-prem and Cloud, developing and maintaining software tools, supporting and troubleshooting applications. You will also contribute to our existing operations hosted on-prem, which includes managing several Java applications, supporting middleware technologies, continuous automation, and adapting Site reliability engineering (SRE) principles to operations problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and configuring Microsoft Azure Cloud platform services, including Microservices, Azure Kubernetes Cluster, Function apps, IoT Hub, APIM, Key Vault, F5 Load Balancers, and Postgres databases.
- Experience with build and deployment process involving CI/CD, Bitbucket, Jfrog Artifactory, and Jenkins.
- Configuration management tools such as Chef.
- Java, middleware applications operations, and administration.
- Supporting development and production environments, on-call support, Observability, and Health monitoring.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
- Experience with build and deployment process involving CI/CD.
- Experience in configuration management tools such as Chef.
- Experience in Java, middleware applications operations, and administration.
- Good understanding of Architecture, High Availability configurations, Load balancing, Fault tolerance, Resiliency, and Disaster recovery.
