JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for maintaining stock items in all aspects including expediting of stock orders, vendor questions, receive questions / discrepancies. Upon receipt the stockroom clerk checks receiver sheets for accuracy and stores parts in the proper location. The majority of time is spent utilizing computer applications. Clerks maintain the integrity of the inventory via cycle counting and correct inventory data as needed. The maintenance department is dependent upon the stockroom’s ability to maintain stock items and repairs. Stockroom clerks accurately maintain all data in the Maximo system.
