About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at ABBTECH Professional Resources. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the GBSD program project, supporting design development of structural engineering designs.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements. They will work closely with other Structural engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of concrete and steel structural design and drawings, including seismic analysis
- Foundation design and drawings
- Assistance with boring oversight and walkdowns of existing facilities
- Performance of formal calculations
- Review of existing conditions and as-built drawings
- Integration of customer and vendor information into design solutions
- Development of design configuration packages for configuration control and procurement
- Development of design specifications for construction and/or procurement
- Execution of work according to schedule requirements while maintaining quality
- C close coordination with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A BS degree in Engineering (Structural or related) from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively
- Broad knowledge of structural engineering design principles
- Ability to execute work independently and have greater than 1 year of Bechtel service for consideration of working at other locations
Preferred Qualifications
Possession of active security clearance, registration as a Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States, MS degree in Structural or related Engineering, experience designing seismic bracing and supports, experience executing engineering and design with Revit, and knowledge of Bechtel Corporate guides and standards.

Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $36.62-$79.18 per hour, depending on qualifications and location. Please note that final salary offers are based on a number of factors, including the positions responsibilities, the candidates experience, education, and skills, location, travel required, and current market conditions.
