Description
The Senior Treasury Analyst is a part of the Treasury Operations group, which has responsibility for cash management, short-term investments and to confirm settlement of foreign exchange transactions. The candidate must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have the utmost attention to detail, enjoys seeking new opportunities while also dealing with significant challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare multi-billion-dollar daily cash position in SAP Treasury and execute daily transfers as approved.
- Execute investment trades for money market funds and time deposits for AbbVie Inc.’s multi-billion-dollar investment position.
- Monitor and manage the notional currency notional pool for AbbVie Inc.
- Monitor, evaluate and recommend Commercial Paper issuance for AbbVie Inc multi-billion-dollar program.
- Prepare weekly Global Cash Reports so send to higher management.
- Initiate wire payments in SAP and banking portals.
- Process, monitor and confirm critical capital market wires including for bonds, shareholder dividends and interest rate swaps.
- Prepare cash flow and cash balance reports as well as analyze and report multi-billion-dollar cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze bank fee statements and month end variances in Foreign Exchange revaluation and interest income.
- Analyze multi-billion-dollar FX exposure of responsible entities and prepare FX trade proposals.
- Manage US entities for the multi-lateral netting program as well as negotiate yields with Financial Institutions to maximize returns.
- Coordinate payments, receipts and transfers with various internal groups and coordinate with banks to manage transactions and services.
- Prepare audit documentation for Sox, Internal Audit, External Audit and Tax.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with knowledge of Treasury and related systems.
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 3 years of experience in a professional organization
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with a comprehensive treasury management system preferred
- CTP and Certificate in International Cash Management preferred
- Experience with SAP Treasury and FX management preferred
