Join Our Team as a Customer Support Specialist!

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Join our dynamic team as a Customer Support Specialist and become the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with our products and services. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a patient demeanor, and a commitment to providing top-notch support. This position offers the flexibility to be based at either our Abbotsford or Medford office locations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide prompt and exceptional customer service via phone and in-person, addressing account-related requests such as fund transfers, ACH, stop payments, debit card inquiries, check verification, fraud resolution, error resolution and electronic banking products/services.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and maintain a positive and helpful demeanor.
  • Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts, balance customer statements, and correct errors as needed.
  • Process incoming/outgoing wires and adhere to banking regulations and procedures.
  • Assist in creating/updating procedures.
  • Process daily reports/forms, handle document imaging, and resolve customer queries regarding electronic transfers.
  • Handle ACH, cash letter transactions, and resolve file errors. Process cash management, lockbox accounts, and assist with related customer inquiries.
  • Manage daily outgoing mail, understand mail equipment, and assist with postage-related questions.
  • On a rotating basis, work until 6:00p.m. on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings as scheduled to answer incoming telephone calls.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of retail banking experience (required).
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-first mindset and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and resolve problems efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to evolving technology platforms.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative team player, capable of working effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals.
