ABC Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking Summer Camp Teachers to support our summer school age program.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! This is a full-time, seasonal position.
Employment Dates: 5/27/25 - Mid August
Required Shift: Monday - Friday
Compensation: $16 - $17 an hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate using current curriculum guides.
- Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
- Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
- Provide additional supervision of children during field trips and off-site activities.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
