Position Overview :
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our team. This position involves in-home ABA therapy within a 15-mile radius of Bound Brook, NJ, offering the opportunity to work directly with children and their families in their natural environments. As part of Breakthrough Behaviors , you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based strategies and help children achieve their goals.
Responsibilities :
Provide one-on-one in-home ABA services to children with developmental disabilities.Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by BCBAs to support skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.Collect and record accurate data during client sessions.Communicate effectively with families and the BCBA to ensure consistent progress.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the BACB.Qualifications : Required :
Experience : Minimum of 1 year working with individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., children with autism, intellectual disabilities).Availability : Minimum of 3 days per week, including evenings (3 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 PM) and weekends.Passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.Preferred :
Experience as a paraprofessional, in daycare settings, or working with family members with autism.Familiarity with ABA therapy principles and willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT training course (required for candidates without prior experience).RBT Certification (not required but preferred).What We Offer :
