What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at ABC Children's Center, LLC?
For nearly 30 years, ABC Children's Center has been serving the State College community. We are located next to GW Elementary School, nestled among trees in a park like setting. We have a position open for an energetic and motivated individual that would be able to establish and maintain a safe and creative learning environment for our school-agers. This full-time position would be Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 with a one-hour break
Responsibilities include
- Implementing our Summer Camp curriculum (Learning about Countries)
- Communicating daily with parents
- Maintaining a neat, organized classroom
- Providing a nurturing, caring environment for the children in your care
- Ability to work independently and within our team
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED (Degree preferred)
- At least two years of experience with children (in a childcare center preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents, orally and in writing
- Have, or willing to get, required clearances (Within the last five years)
- Have, or willing to get, a physical with TB test (Within the last year)
