Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Project Manager located in Orlando, FL. The Senior Project Manager works with executive and director-level business leaders to manage projects including process and governance for various departments aligning with the organization's strategic vision. The SPM position works within the Project Management Office. Leadership skills, effective communication, proficiency with PMI methodology and tools, and emotional intelligence are needed for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- 10 years of project management, traditional, hybrid, and agile experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- CSM, DASM, PMI-BA certification preferred
- Articulation skills and strong verbal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project portfolio management and enterprise resource management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Ability to influence and work with people at all levels
- Commensurate education plus experience that creates an equivalent background may be considered in lieu of 10 years of direct project management experience
- Experience in PMO operations
- Working knowledge of PMI processes•Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the organization, from C-level to peer staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, OneNote, Outlook, Project for the Web, Azure DevOps, and Office 365 tool proficiency
- Data Governance and Knowledge Management experience a plus
- Retail experience and business process design knowledge are a plus
