ABC Learning Center is hiring an Assistant Director who can supervise and lead their staff, design program plans, oversee daily activities, and prepare budgets. 45 college credits of early childhood education is required.
Assistant Director Position Overview
As an Assistant Director, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising educators
- Assisting in hiring and training new staff members
- Working 40-50 hours per week
- Providing training and professional development opportunities for staff
- Establishing policies and communicating them to staff and parents
- Assisting in developing educational programs and setting educational standards
- Helping staff resolve conflicts between children
- Supporting staff in communicating with parents
- Meeting with parents and staff to discuss students’ progress
- Assisting in establishing budgets and setting fees for programs
- Ensuring facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations
- Support the Center Director

Although much of the day is spent in an office, visiting classrooms to check on students or speak with preschool teachers or childcare workers is also required.
Our centers participate in the Early Achievers program, so Assistant Directors play a crucial role in coordinating and interacting with staff, parents, and children to ensure a high-quality educational experience.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
