Job Summary and Duties
- Responsibilities include operating a late model GEFCO Speedstar 50K-CH drill rig.
- Support equipment includes a Flattank 2500 Gallon Water Truck and Mud Technologies 1400 RST Mud System.
- Conduct routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during drilling operations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Operate forklifts, backhoes, and skid steers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling operations and submit paperwork daily.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and complete necessary safety training.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience in drilling operations with Mud/Air Rotary/ARCH capabilities.
- A valid Class A California Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Background checks are required.
- A strict Zero Tolerance drug policy.
- A positive, safety conscious attitude is required.
- Willingsness to work longer shifts, weekends, and out of town.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate various types of drilling equipment.
- Familiarity with various drilling techniques is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
